The Enemy Album Countdown #1

Can you guess which tracks by The Enemy ranked the highest YouTube streams?
The moment of truth has arrived, just ahead of the fifth studio album release. Social Disguises is available to pre-order from the official website and will be released on Friday 20th February 2026.

Here are the biggest tunes from each studio album The Enemy have released:

Saturday (SITS 2012)

Be Somebody (MFTP 2009)

It's Automatic (IA 2015)

Three out of the four most streamed songs by fans of The Enemy have connections to football. We'll Live And Die In These Towns single reached #21 when it was first released in December 2007, yet over the years the slow burner grew on fans. Becoming an anthem during live gigs, the track went on to being played at the Coventry City Football Club home games. The song has continued to grow in popularity and is now firmly embedded into the history of Coventry and it's football club. WLADITT became the most streamed track, amassing 3.7m YouTube streams.

Saturday (SITS 2013) was the official first single from Streets In The Sky (Gimme The Sign was a free download prior to this) and  the track featured in FIFA 13, cementing The Enemy's connection with football fans. The lads would go on to perform in London alongside the FIFA World Cup as part of a special promotion.

EA Sports became connected with The Enemy through the catchy Be Somebody track, which featured on FIFA 10. The video follows Tom, Andy and Liam on their journey to the then RICOH Arena ( now the Coventry Building Society Arena) for the amazing homecoming gig. There is even a quick footy kick during the video.

It's Automatic was the title track taken from the 2015 album release, the visually captivating video was directed by Imaginate Creative. The new look and new sound is where things paused until The Enemy reformed in 2022.

Not Going Your Way, Trouble and The Boxer are the three releases from The Enemy's fifth studio album already out there for new and older fans to enjoy. In a few days time, the long eleven year wait will be over. Time to add even more tunes to the streaming lists as the music library continues to grow for fans of The Enemy.

The Enemy Album Countdown #2

Counting down The Enemy's most streamed YouTube tracks by the fans that buy and listen to the music continues as we edge nearer to the #1 spot. This time we find out the runners up from the first four album releases. While every fan may like different songs for personal reasons, these runner up songs prove that The Enemy fans all love up tempo belters.

Away From Here (WLADITT 2007)

No Time For Tears (MFTP 2009)

Like A Dancer (SITS 2012)

With a massive 3.2m streams on YouTube, Away From Here from the first album, has continued to be a firm favourite. You can't listen to this song without the urge to find a josh pit and get stuck right in (unless you want to stay at home with Richard and Judy!).
Fans were treated to a free give away with Don't Let Nothing Get In The Way, used as a promotion for the launch of the fourth studio album (It's Automatic, October 2015).

No Time For Tears peaked at #4 on the Official UK Physical Singles Chart in April 2009, becoming the most successful track from the second album. The video was visually powerful with The Enemy performing inside a glass box, while facing various angry faces, objects and graffiti - which might well sum up the difficulty of releasing the second album after the massive success of the debut.

The video for Like A Dancer was filmed in Glasgow, Scotland with fans in mind. It was directed by The Blind Club at Left Eye Blind Productions and captured the mood of the Scottish fans beautifully.

The Enemy Album Countdown #3

The long awaited new album from The Enemy entitled Social Disguises is out on Friday 20th February 2026 and to celebrate it's arrival The Enemy Unofficial is counting down the classic tracks. Looking at the third most streamed songs (via YouTube) across the four albums. We'll Live And Die In These Towns was first released on 9th July 2007 and shot straight to the top of the UK Album Charts, eventually spending 52 weeks in the charts, going platinum.

Had Enough (WLADITT 2007)

Elephant Song (MFTP 2009)

Gimme The Sign (SITS 2012)

So Much Love (IA 2015)

Had Enough became the highest charting single in the Official UK Singles Chart for The Enemy in mid 2007, reaching number 4. The track has always been a gig anthem - getting fans chanting along each time the song in performed live. In contrast, the slower melody So Much Love struck a chord for those listening at home or on the move.
Gimme The Sign was the first single from the third album, Streets In The Sky (2012). The video filmed fans and the band during a live performance in Coventry at the Se7en venue in the city centre.

Meanwhile, The Elephant Song was the opening track from the second album, also with links to Coventry. The city has symbols of elephants throughout it's history and this track was a nod to Coventry, reminding fans that The Enemy had not forgotten where they had come from.

That's the third most streamed tracks from each of The Enemy albums in our countdown. Next time we find out which tracks were the worthy runners up, and they are all belters!

The Enemy Are Buzzing

The Enemy posted a picture from one of the venues where they will be performing for the Social Disguises album launch. Tom, Andy and Liam are "buzzing" about playing these special shows in front of fans. Rehearsals are done and dusted - it's almost time to hit the road once again and continue along the journey for The Enemy.

PRESS: HotPress The Boxer Release

The Enemy share new single ‘The Boxer’, ahead of upcoming album Social Disguises.

WEBSITE: https://www.hotpress.com/music/the-enemy-share-new-single-the-boxer-ahead-of-upcoming-album-social-disguises-23125308

The Enemy have released the single ‘The Boxer’, ahead of their forthcoming record Social Disguises, set to be released on February 20.

Social Disguises is the trio's first album in over a decade, and it was produced by their long-term collaborator Matt Terry.

Aiming to hit the same standards of their platinum-selling debut, We'll Live And Die In These Towns (2007), The Enemy have written their new record from 90 demos, some of which stem back to when they reformed in 2022. The group had split in 2016.

Described as intensely hypnotic, ‘The Boxer’ is about a man whose glory days are behind him, as well as a metaphor for other universal experiences, such as the realisation that our futures can always change for the better if we keep striving and battling for something more.

"‘The Boxer’ is about a fictional character, but it's an observation about regret and how anxiety can stop us achieving things we want to in life," said Tom Clarke, the lead vocalist of the band.

"It's about fear holding us back, and how that can destroy who we are. We tried to achieve an industrial weight to the sound, and a monotony to the composition to reflect the sentiment of being stuck."
